Ethos Behind Ela Estate
What began as a farmhouse for the immediate family slowly became known for its private gardens, hosting esteemed guests from production houses across the country. Today the estate offers space, privacy and distinct optionality for hosts of any occasion, at any size.
Ela Estate was conceptualized and constructed by Mr. Manjunath Reddy and Mrs. Kavitha Reddy who have been residents of the city of Bangalore for over 30 years. A project that started off as a farmhouse for the immediate family slowly became known for its private gardens hosting several esteemed guests from production houses all over the country.
The family home is still here. It is Ela 1 — The Family Farmhouse and it remains the heart of the Estate.
Note from The Founder
Ten years ago, when we began developing this property, we set out to build a family farmhouse away from the city’s harsh lights and noise. We, the family, abode to spend quality time with our loved ones against the green backdrop we grew up with in Bangalore.
Slowly, we found that more and more guests wanted to experience exactly what we were seeking ourselves, so we decided to share this with others in the city, and soon after, we saw guests coming in from various parts of the country.
So we opened the Estate and named it Ela, the Earth because that is what we were trying to honour. Each tree in the Estate has been selected and planted by our team here, and by me, every corner of the Estate has been designed by my husband and me this property is our artistic vision come to life.
The happy faces we see at the Estate motivated us to continue working on this vision to expand and add more elements for our guests to enjoy for any occasion. We are excited to be bringing new spaces to the Estate, with enclosed sections to provide our guests with indoor-outdoor options surrounded by abundant green spaces.
We intended to build a home, but we built more than we could have imagined. We hope you enjoy this space as much as we have enjoyed bringing this project to life!
